German

No matter your level, there is an option for you

Inflatable Armbands

German Beginner

Whether you have never read and spoken a word of German or know just a few words, such as "Autobahn" and "Danke", then you are considered a beginner.

Depending in your goals, our sessions could cover basic conversational German so that you can get around on a holiday or we may cover a bit more theory (read: grammar) to also give you some background on how the language works.

Either way, this phase is meant to give you guidance and help you establish trust in your own abilities so that you can enjoy the process.

Winding Staircase

German Intermediate

You may have taken German lessons before or you may have lived in one of the German-speaking countries for a while, you feel like you have a good foundation but could use some practice or might even want to get to the advanced level.

Depending on your goals, the lessons might cover more conversational German, more grammar, more literature or a mix of these elements.

This phase is designed to increase your confidence in your own abilities, to spur your curiosity and to help you gain more independence.

German Advanced

You basically understand most spoken or written German and can pinpoint to vocabulary or grammar structures that you do not understand. At this level, you have an ample knowledge of the language and are looking to polish it. Depending on your goals, our lessons would cover longer conversations about various topics of your choice, text drafting, listening comprehension of audiobooks or radio/TV shows and reading a diverse set of materials. The student would be able to guide the direction of their lessons.
